Educational Philosophy and Infrastructure of the Department
Education within our department aims to provide nursing care that assesses, protects, improves, and treats the health of the child and the family within the framework of family-centered care. For this purpose, knowledge enriched with up-to-date resources is delivered through various educational methods (brainstorming, case discussions, role play) and supportive materials (videos, practice models, etc.). The practical components of the undergraduate and graduate courses are carried out under the supervision of responsible faculty members and clinical mentor nurses in the relevant clinics of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Practice and Research Center Children's Hospital and the Samsun Maternity and Children's Hospital.
