Admission and Registration Requirements
Students who meet the YGS threshold determined by ÖSYM may apply to the program and enroll in the Nursing Department within the available quota using their LYS-MF3 score.
Recognition of Previous Learning (formal, informal, non-formal)
Education in the department continues in line with the principles of both theoretical and practical training. Additionally, students may complete social field internships appropriate to the content of the courses they are enrolled in and may participate in social responsibility projects.

To successfully graduate from this program, students must complete a total of 120 national credits and 240 ECTS credits consisting of compulsory and elective courses specified in the course catalog.
Program Profile
The Nursing Department carries out an educational plan aimed at training nurses. The curriculum includes compulsory courses related to the nursing profession and general culture. In addition to mandatory courses, the program offers elective courses that students may choose based on their interests. Thus, the Nursing Department trains graduates who can identify and produce solutions to community health care problems through both individual and group-based interdisciplinary work.
Employment Opportunities for Graduates (with examples)
Graduates of this program may be appointed as nurses by the Ministry of Health upon obtaining the required score from KPSS. They may also work as nurses in private healthcare institutions, university hospitals, and various other public and private sectors (e.g., Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of Defense).
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who successfully complete the undergraduate program may pursue graduate studies in nursing science or other fields that accept nursing graduates, provided that they obtain a valid score from the ALES exam and possess sufficient proficiency in English.
Examinations, Assessment and Evaluation
During the educational process, students are required to take one midterm and one final exam for each course. In practical courses, practical assessments are included in both midterm and final grade calculations. Depending on the content of the practical course, quizzes, oral exams, practical exams, activities, projects, and seminar grades may also be used in evaluation. There are practical evaluation forms for practical courses, and each student is assessed for compliance with the criteria listed in these forms.
