Information on the Risk Management System of the Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University
The Nursing Department, within the Faculty of Health Sciences, has an established and operational risk management system. The Faculty of Health Sciences has prepared a Risk Assessment Report and an Emergency Action Plan, created in 2022 and valid until 2028. The Emergency Action Plan provides detailed information under the following headings: emergency procedures, emergency instructions, fire extinguisher usage instructions, first aid instructions, emergency action plan, and emergency teams and forms. The plan also designates individuals responsible for implementing emergency actions.
The Risk Assessment Report includes detailed information on the hazard and risk assessment procedure, risk assessment criteria, and the risk assessment team. Additionally, the report presents risk assessment tables for the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nutrition Laboratory, Midwifery Laboratory, Nursing Laboratory, and Chemistry Laboratory.
The Risk Assessment Report aims to establish safe and healthy working and educational environments within the Faculty of Health Sciences. The report includes a table classifying risks according to their level of importance as low, medium, or high, and for each risk, corrective and preventive control measures as well as risk reduction strategies are determined.
