The Nursing and Public Health Society, the professional student community of the Nursing Department, collaborated with the Samsun Branch of the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV) to set up an Awareness Booth at the OMÜ Life Center on November 6–7, 2025. Through the booth, students aimed to raise awareness about leukemia and educate the public. Visitors to the booth were invited to make orange handprints to draw attention to leukemia. Over the course of the two-day awareness event, many individuals were informed about the disease.
