Specific Admission Requirements
In order to apply for this program, students who exceed the YGS threshold made by OSYM can register to the nursing department with quota of LYS-MF3.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Education and training are continuing in accordance with the principles of both theoretical and practical education in the department. In addition, students can take social studies internships and take part in social responsibility projects in accordance with the content of the course they are enrolled in.

In order to successfully graduate from this program, 120 national and 240 ECTS credits must be taken from the compulsory and elective courses determined in the course of the course and successfully completed.
Profile of The Programme
The Nursing Department conducts a training plan to train nurses. The department has compulsory courses on nursing profession and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses in the nursing education plan, the program offers elective courses in which students are given the opportunity to choose according to their own preferences. Thus, the Nursing Department educates graduated individuals who can produce solutions by defining the health care problems of the society, either individually or in groups, through interdisciplinary studies.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
This program is assigned by the Ministry of Health as a nurse in case the graduates get the required score from KPSS. They can also serve as nurses in private health institutions and institutions, university hospitals and other private and public institutions (Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of Defense, etc.).
Access to Further Studies
Applicants who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in the alumni programs of nursing science and other science fields that accept nursing graduates provided that they have a valid grade in the ALES exam and that they have sufficient level of English language knowledge.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Students are required to have a visa and a final exam from all courses during the education and training process. Besides, application evaluation in applied courses is done by adding to both visa and final grade. In accordance with the content of the applied course, it is used to evaluate short exams, oral exams, practical exams, activities, projects, seminar notes. There are application evaluation forms for the applied courses and the conformity of the criteria for each student is evaluated by these forms.
